Head football coach Bret Bielema and his family have launched a new initiative to give back to those who serve and protect. In recognition of Military Appreciation Day on November 15 vs. Maryland, Coach Bielema has pledged to match every ticket purchased by Fighting Illini fans as part of a campaign to bring veterans, active-duty military, and their families to Memorial Stadium.

Fans are invited to participate by purchasing specifically designated $20 tickets for the sole purpose of donating them to those who have bravely served or continue to serve our communities and country. These tickets will not be for fan use, but will instead be distributed directly to Vet Tix. For each ticket purchased, Coach Bielema will match it - doubling the impact and the number of honored guests who will get to experience game day at Memorial Stadium.

All tickets purchased through this initiative will be distrbuted through Vet Tix.
